Qigong Energy Flow with Ged

Slow movement meditation Qigong

There are thousands of Qigong methods and exercises. Which one is good? Which one to practise?
At ”Qi Free Flow” we work with subtle energies from our bodies and nature. We feel, follow and lead qi or chi with our mind.
When you learn to sense and direct qi or chi with your mind it is not so important which exercises or forms you will practise.

What is Qigong?

Qigong, pronounced as “chee-gong,” is an ancient Chinese discipline blending physical movement, meditation, and special breathing methods. Its primary goal is to nurture and harmonize the body’s life force, commonly referred to as “qi” or “chi.” Often likened to a gentle blend of exercise and mindfulness, qigong emphasizes slow, intentional movements synchronized with breathing and focused concentration. It’s widely embraced for its potential to enhance both physical fitness, mental well-being and spiritual connection. Practitioners turn to qigong to boost overall health, alleviate stress, elevate energy levels, sharpen mental acuity and find yourselves. Here are the key points about qigong:

  • Combines Movement, Meditation, and Breath Control: It involves gentle movements, meditation, and controlled breathing techniques.
  • Cultivates Vital Energy (Qi or Chi): The aim of qigong is to cultivate and balance the body’s vital energy, known as “qi” or “chi,” which is believed to flow through channels in the body.
  • Promotes Well-being: Qigong is practiced to improve physical and mental health, reduce stress, increase energy levels, and enhance mental clarity.
  • Slow, Deliberate Movements: Qigong exercises typically involve slow, deliberate movements that are coordinated with deep breathing and focused attention.
  • Accessible to All Ages and Fitness Levels: Qigong is accessible to people of all ages and fitness levels, and can be adapted to accommodate individual needs and abilities.
  • Can Be Practiced Anywhere: Qigong can be practiced indoors or outdoors, and requires little to no equipment.
  • Variety of Styles and Forms: There are many different styles and forms of qigong, ranging from gentle, flowing movements to more dynamic and vigorous exercises.
  • Growing Popularity Worldwide: Qigong has gained popularity worldwide as more people recognize its potential benefits for physical and mental health.

Shing ling mei qigong

Shing-ling-mei Wudang Qigong

Shing-ling-mei (heart-spirit-beautiful) Wudang Qigong is an ancient practice rooted in the mystical traditions of Wudang Mountain in China. Developed and preserved by Master Qing Chuan Wang, this form of Qigong combines breath work, gentle movements, meditation, and visualization techniques to cultivate and harmonize the flow of Qi (life force energy) within the body and the natural Qi of the environment. Safe and beneficial for individuals of all ages and health conditions, Shing-ling-mei Qigong enhances the therapeutic effects of Western medicine and complements other energy-focused disciplines like yoga and Taiji Quan (Tai Chi Chuan).

The Eight Brocades Qigong

The Eight Brocades Qigong, also known as Ba Duan Jin, is an ancient Chinese exercise system that consists of eight gentle and flowing movements.
